Black Pug Training

Black pug is a breed of toy dogs that have small bodies and wrinkly faces. They are often termed as ‘much in little’, due to the qualities it has in such a small size. The pugs have stern expressions but are very playful, clever and charming dogs. Although they can be stubborn about specific things, they will be successful in skills of dog obedience. They are really sensitive to the voice of the humans and for this reason, there is no need to punish them. These dogs love attention from their owners and may feel anxious if left alone or ignored. Because they are so much attached with their owners, they will always follow you anywhere you go.

If you are considering buying a pug dog for sale, then you must understand that the training of these dogs starts from the time they are little puppies. When they first enter into your home, you should start getting them introduced to all your family members. Usually, these dogs are fully confident and are very friendly in nature but they may take some time to feel at complete ease in a new atmosphere. The training process of black pug dogs should be started in a systematic way by teaching only one word with an action at a single time. If you use the same word time and again, the association will become stronger in its mind. After teaching it the 5 commands to sit, down, stay, heel and come, the next step is to get it on the leash. You should start with a plain buckle collar and then, gradually start introducing the leash. You should make sure that the leash is light weight and is soft on its skin.

One of the most important things that you have to take care of while training your pug is that you should train him only one word at one time. Apart from that, you also need to give it crate training so that it learns to stay within the crate if required. Give a toy to the pug to keep its mind occupied and to associate good things to the crate. Your pug may take some days to feel comfortable in his crate but you have to be careful enough not to expose it to so much very soon. Restricting your pug to a leash or a crate all day and every day is not a healthy thing for your dog, so you should understand that he is getting plenty of breaks too.

As far as potty training is concerned, take it outside not right after eating but when it is ready to do it. Typically, some signs of a pug wanting a bathroom are it will shake, it will act antsy or it will begin squatting. Do not forget to praise the dog when it does his potty in the appropriate place. This will be an encouraging sign for it that it has done a right thing and it should do this in that way only.

Whether it is a male or a female, black pug dogs need a lot of love, care, attention and affection and if it is sick, ease out all the training procedures and give total attention to your beloved pet.
